If Jesus is the example. If He refused to fight for Palestine. If He refused to protect Himself and others with violence. If His final two lessons were "we don't fight wrong religion with violence, but with right religion", and, "This is how you forgive those who kill you for your refusal to fight." If His followers took this to heart and suffered the fate of wanderers in the role of the persecuted. If Jesus is our example.
And.
If we fight for a Kingdom in this world. If we insist on violence for the sake of the state and in the name of religion. If we declare the religion of others worthy of violence. If we refuse forgiveness and offer never-ending violence or complete subjugation to our will instead. If we insist on an earthly nation, and treasure, and security, and freedom from discomfort - much less persecution - in this world.
Then
We are not followers of Christ, but the antithesis of Christ. We deny His coming in the flesh in our refusal to follow His example. We demonstrate our true lack of belief in him by our refusal to lean upon the method and spirit that he left among us. We are Antichrist, and the spirit of Antichrist is now among us.
